SOHO
Soho training is an International training for accredited organizations within the European Solidarity Corps. The condition is that you are actively involved with an accredited organization.
The training was held in June 2018 is Serock-Poland. Participants came from Monte Negro, Curacao/Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Iceland, Ireland, Turkey, Georgia, and Estonia. The training was intended for supervisors, mentors and contact persons who are active with and for projects of the European Solidarity Corps.
One of the main goals was to work on the quality of the projects within the European Solidarity Corps program.
What did we learn?
Aspects that were covered are:
The role of the mentor in a project;
The contribution of European Solidarity Corps to a better image of your organization;
Ways to deal with problems within a project;
Trust in organizing projects;
Use of Youthpass to guide young people.
The way of working was based on non-formal learning. The working methods were active and varied and as a participant, you are actively involved.
